Baron Hauser posesses a magic statue of himself containing his soul and drawing all evil upon it. Ross Bridger visits a balkan land and a spooky castle. There he meets Chorta, a she-devil who can transform into a cat. Chorta wants Ross to be her prince of evil. Ross escapes but is followed to the United States. In a showdown on a stormy night he can kill the cat with a magical dagger.
Art painter Dwight (who might have painted too many cat paintings...) behaves like a cat himself and even transforms partly into one. He fights madly with his girlfriend who tries to soothe him by imitating a cat herself. After seeing that (and hitting his head on a chair) Dwight comes to his senses and swears to destroy all his cat pictures.
