She decides to divorce Frank and wed Gilbert, but changes her mind at the last minute and stays.

Synopsis:	Penny takes a job as a hat check girl in a shady nightclub to support her blind mother. She’s courted by cabbie Jerry, but also dates wealthy Arthur, although his high-society parents disapprove. One night, Arthur’s sister Babs is at the club when the police raid the gambling operation. Penny switches places with her so Babs won’t be arrested, and goes to jail. However, Arthur refuses to ask his parents for Penny’s bail money because he'll be disinherited. Faithful Jerry shows up and Penny realises he’s her man.
