It's good to see people using eBay as a source for missing pages. It can be hit-or-miss, and the quality is not always what we'd like it to be, but it's certainly better than nothing -- especially for Fox magazines like this one where the first story page was the IFC. Well done. That said, after examining the ads in other Oct 1948 Fox magazines, it is likely (but not certain) that the IBC was a Mr. Micawber Savings Bonds ad. |
