Now with better front and back covers, thanks to Yoc for pointing me in the right direction with his usual great advice.
Avon 1952, a compilation from remaindered books, the GCD gives details that it consists of the following books:-
1. Gangsters and Gun Molls #3 - 03/1952 - Darwination.
2. Parole Breakers #2 - 04/1952 - Narfstar, Kracalactaka.
3. Crime on the Waterfront #4 - 05/1952 - JVJ and tilliban
I've compiled this from existing scans as detailed above.
The new front and back covers are from Comic Book Bondage Cover of the Day.
GCD records state the inner front cover is from Gangsters and Gun Molls, the inner back cover from Parole Breakers and the rear cover from Crime on the Waterfront.
However, this would be incorrect based upon the scan of the rear cover and the correct order should be with the splash page from Crime on the Waterfront as the inside back page and the art from Gangsters and Gun Molls on the outer back cover
I've left the original indicia in place for the ifc and ibc although in the original book, I suspect that they would not be present. |
