One More Time |
Synopsis: |
May was beautiful, and worried that all the men in her life loved her for that physical attribute alone. But, then she met Ted, the only man who did not spend every night extolling her beauty. Still, after months of dating, May kept Ted at arms length, and had not even let him kiss her. Regardless, Ted was in love with her and while at the beach he popped the question. Again, May cut him off and this time he stormed off of the beach. Realizing that she may have lost her true love, May invited Ted to a romantic dinner. She cooked, wore her best dress, and afterwards took him into the living room. Looking into his eyes, she kissed him and said, "Well... are you going to ask?" Ted was bewildered and wondered if she was doing that to simply get a good looking husband since she at rebuked him so often before. He then told her that he had fallen in love with her, as she was, and can't guarantee that he'd feel the same if she were anything else. With that, he stormed out of her life again. But this time, May followed him realizing that she loved him, too, and didn't care why.

Holly Talbert had kept the secret that her mother was a thief and in prison to herself for years. Then, when her mother died, she swore that she'd get a new start and left to go to nursing school. In the clinic one night, a patient came in. Tony Decker had been in an accident and when Holly nursed him back to health, Tony asked her out. The romance went well until Tony took Holly home to meet his wealthy parents. There, the mother let Holly know that she was aware of her past... and none to happy about it. In deference to his parents, Tony broke up with Holly. Heartbroken, Holly threw herself into her studies until, one night, she found Tony in her dorm room. He was bloodied and had been shot. Tony told her that his friend, Jack Duncan, and he went to "scare" a night watchman, but the prank turned deadly. As she bandaged his wounds, Holly decided she had to call the police, even though Tony begged her not to. In court, Tony received a suspended sentence, and told Holly that he now understood what she had been going through. Turning his back on his parents, Tony and Holly walked out of the courtroom arm-in-arm, together. |
