Vina Russell’s social life is adversely affected when many young men are drafted into the armed forces. She dates Bill Evans, whose factory work makes him exempt, but becomes jealous when he spends so much time at work with Sue Leeds. Vina breaks off their engagement, only to discover Bill was training Sue to take over his job so he could enlist in the Army, and intended to marry Vina before he left. After Bill departs, Vina takes a job at the factory to turn her self-centered life around. When Bill comes home on leave, they reconcile. |
