Synopsis: Noreen is plain and is therefore jealous of her boyfriend Glenn's alleged attention to other women. During an argument, she causes an auto accident and her face is badly cut. Plastic surgery makes her beautiful, but she thinks Glenn only pitied her before. Calling herself Jean, she meets Glenn at a ski resort and makes him fall in love with her. Noreen reveals her true identity and Glenn says "Noreen was a selfish, bitter girl." He prefers the new Jean, and "it wasn't your new face that I fell in love with!" Noreen promises to be more like Jean from now on.

Synopsis: Mona is hired by the party to craft Jeff into a viable political candidate. They fall in love and are married. "Jeff could be led but not driven," and she tries to convince him to campaign her way. He wants to keep his private life private. She works hard and he rises in the polls, but their relationship suffers. Jeff sues for divorce and the publicity causes him to lose the election. However, he and Mona are reunited and he eventually is elected senator.

Synopsis: Kay is "tired of being a nobody's wife!" because her husband Tom doesn't work hard enough at his ad agency copywriting job: he wants to be a novelist. "You are a failure!" Under an assumed name, she becomes friends with Tom's boss Walter--pretending to be Tom's sister-in-law--and urges him to promote Tom. Walter does, but he falls in love with Kay and she has to tell him she's married. When Walter learns who her husband is, he fires Tom. Kay apologizes and Tom forgives her.
