Synopsis: Russ goes off to fight in Korea, leaving his girlfriend Amy behind. Matt, an Army friend of Russ, visits Amy and says Russ hasn’t written because he was wounded. Matt falls in love with Amy and suggests “Russ isn’t a prize package!” When Russ arrives, he admits he hasn’t been faithful to her and had asked Matt to break up with Amy for him; Matt made up the wounded-arm story to spare her feelings. Amy goes off with Matt.

Alan changes his mind and decides to form a real family with Jean and Steve.
