Synopsis: Cara, a secretary in the Brewster architectural firm, dates aspiring architect Phil and shows his plans to her boss, who is impressed. However, Cara overhears Phil making a phone call and telling a woman he loves her, so she decides to leave town. Phil catches up with Cara and says (a) he was talking to his mother, and (b) he’s really the son of the owner of the architecture firm, and took a false name so his work would get an impartial hearing. Phil and Cara kiss.

When they arrive in Paris, a chance encounter reveals Jimmy is actually a wealthy playboy, and Joanie feels deceived. Even when Jimmy rescues her from a street robbery, Joanie refuses to forgive him for his deception. On the return trip, Jimmy explains: he is learning the business from the bottom up, and he really loves Joanie. They reconcile.

However, Sonny decides to quit because she loves Johnny and doesn’t think her affections are reciprocated. Johnny admits he loves her as well.

Ellen remains behind to oversee the drug trials; at a crucial juncture she tries to reach Bruce, but Gloria fails to give him the message. When Bruce returns, Ellen’s hard work has paid off and Bruce now realises he loves her.
