Synopsis:	Over her older sister Lydia’s objections, Ellen marries Dan, almost a complete stranger. However, he begins to act strangely and leaves her. Ellen tracks Dan to his hometown, and discovers his real name is Carl and he doesn’t recognize her. Psychiatrist Dr. Weber says Dan/Carl is suffering from shock after the death of his mother. Dan undergoes treatments and is cured: he and Ellen are reunited.

When a diphtheria epidemic breaks out, Wayne and Julie work hard but Don announces that he’s quitting medicine. Julie and Wayne get married instead.

Comic Story (10 pages)	Impatient for Kisses
Synopsis:	Gerry leaves school and goes to work in a shirt factory to help support her family. Her longtime boyfriend Al is often out of town on business and Gerry is bored. Her co-workers advise Gerry to put a slip of a paper asking for a date in a shirt she is packaging; suave, middle-aged Guy shows up in response. Gerry has fun with the free-spending Guy, but when Al returns and punches him, Guy gets angry. He forces Gerry to accompany him, but she leaps from his car and is injured. Al is a Treasury agent and Guy has been passing counterfeit bills. Guy is arrested and Al will marry Gerry.
