Synopsis: Jean is unsure which rodeo performer she prefers as husband material: Pete or Rick. “I can only love the biggest winner!” She convinces Pete to compete directly against Rick in bronco riding; Pete is severely injured and Jean becomes Rick’s girlfriend. Pete returns to the rodeo; Rick is caught drugging Pete’s horse and disqualified. Jean switches her affections back to Pete.

Her friend Mildred considers Mike a “parasite who thinks he’s too much of a genius to do some real work.” Ellen eventually comes to believe the same thing, and leaves Mike. Months pass and Ellen learns Mike has become a success. She refuses to go back to him because she was “a fair-weather wife,” but Mike shows up and they reconcile.

Bob didn’t realize that the stranger’s car was identical to his and Jane just made a mistake. When Bob learns the truth, he asks Jane to forgive him and they are reunited.
