||Spoiled Ruth flirts with Don, a photographer for a newspaper owned by her father, hoping to convince him not to print an embarrassing photo of her boyfriend Perry. Don is attracted to her, but refuses. Perry breaks their engagement. Ruth coerces her father into firing Don. However, she learns that she’s now a social outcast, and tries to repent by becoming a volunteer social worker. While on duty at the local orphanage, Ruth risks her life to save the children from a fire. Don and Ruth realize they love each other.
