The hunter Joe Carter encounters a pair of wolves. These are Indian brothers cursed to roam the wilderness in bestial form. Carter performs the necessary rituals to help them find eternal peace.
The magazine's host, the Teller-Of-Tales, discusses the case of a wealthy Englishman who had ordered the murder of his mistress. Driven by guilt or haunted by the dead, the man strangles himself to death.
The dancer Sonia comes back from the grave to lure her beloved partner Igor into deadly exhaustion by performing the "Dance of Death" with him. When the music finally can be stopped, Sonia is defeated.
