Tim is selling newspapers when a strange dog runs out of a butcher shop, runs up to Tim, and deposits a piece of meat at his feet. The butcher threatens to call the dog catcher, but Tim, feeling sorry for the dog, offers to pay the butcher for the meat and then decides to also keep the dog. Later, the dog's owner shows up and pays Tim a reward of $50 - showing that kindness has a way of being repaid. |
