Interesting book with an unusual premise: a comic about crime, mystery, and romance. All three would have been staples in the then unnamed Film Noir movie genre so I can see the logic, but I doubt many mystery/crime fans were interested in romance, and I doubt many who read romance comics also had an interest in crime fiction. That said, it should be noted that the stories in this issue were longer than most comics stories of the era and are also well drawn. I recommend taking a look. |
