Brad says he actually loves her and his father is, in fact, the company’s biggest stockholder, so he’ll take her job after the wedding.

She gets a reputation as a flirt and when one of the other girls tries to commit suicide after losing her boyfriend, Lily resolves “to make amends.” However, her reputation pursues her and eventually she and her parents have to move and “start again somewhere else!” She vows to “turn over a new leaf” and “never be a heartless flirt again!”
