Notes: The Eastern Color 1943-1945 ledger at the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History in Hartford, Connecticut, from the November 1945 portion of the ledger, lists several payments for script work that was intended for this issue. However, it does not list the names of the stories nor the page counts for the scripts in question. The amounts paid correlate to lesser page counts, but it is unknown exactly which stories they were for. The payments are as follows:
A person named Mielaw or Millaw (the handwritting is not clear), who does not seem to correspond with any known comic book writer, was paid $16.00, probably for a two page script;
Demby (Emanuel Demby) was paid $12.00, likely for a one-page script;
and Loeb (Charles Loeb) was paid $8.00, likely for a one-page script.
