Comic Story (6 pages) Dangerous Flirtation!
Synopsis: Mike is upset because his wife Cora continues her habit of flirting with other men. She doesn’t feel it’s a problem, but Mike finally leaves her after she flirts with Drew at a party. Drew shows up later and says he knows she doesn’t love her husband, but she insists she does: “I never made friends easily. I thought you had to make a man desire you to make him like you.” Mike has been listening: Drew is an old friend and they set this up to prove a point to Cora. Mike and Cora reconcile.

Synopsis: John and Meg are married, but quarrel about many things. Meg returns to her former job as Dr. Doran’s nurse, and he explains “You’ve been lavishing your love on the house instead of on John!” and “John is looking for a love without qualifications or questions.” Meg changes her ways and John also realizes “Loving isn’t enough-—understanding can be just as important! A man should consider his wife’s feelings!”

Synopsis: Gale marries Tony, a demolition expert who works for her father’s construction company. She grows bored with their peripatetic lifestyle, and convinces him to leave a job so they can attend a country club dance. An explosion goes awry as a result and Tony leaves her. When Gale’s father falls ill and needs an expert to blast on a crucial new job, Tony returns. He does the job and is reunited with Gale.

Comic Story (6 pages) In-law Interference
Synopsis: Helen’s parents were divorced when she was young, and her mother blamed it on her mother-in-law. When Helen’s husband Brad suggests bringing his mother to their home to visit, Helen is opposed. She later learns Brad has been visiting his mother daily, and that the older woman is ill and must move into their home. Helen is unable to tolerate Mrs. Peters and goes home to her own mother, who admits that her marriage didn’t fail because of her mother-in-law, but because of her own immaturity. Helen reconciles with Brad and her mother becomes friends with Mrs. Peters.
