A man and his wife move into an old mansion near a swamp. Every night he hears a woman calling to him from the swamp. He later realizes its the ghost of his lover from centuries ago in a past life. He reunites with her as he drowns in the swamp.
A convict escapes from a prison on the night he was to be hanged. He enters a shack where an old lady and her cat live. Killing them both, he flees into the nearby swamp to escape the prison guards and their bloodhounds. The ghost of the dead cat torments him and lures him to his death in a bog.
A property owner kicks an elderly woman, her daughter and her baby grandson out of their home on a dark stormy night because they can't pay the rent. After the daughter and her baby die due to exposure, the mother (who is a witch) gets revenge on him and his family.
