Comment: Also worth noting is the very early Walt Kelly strip on one of the later pages in the book. This title strikes me as one of those early comic books where you can sense the comics field feeling itself out as to what direction to take. Note the Al Stahl strip for remarkable examples of racial stereotypes just 75 years ago. There is a lot to be learned by studying this comic.
