Comment: It is clear from the closing caption in the Phantomah story that the story in the next issue, number twenty-seven, was to have featured David, Fantomah's sidekick at the time. For some reason - perhaps wanting to compete with Captain Marvel - that story was dropped and replaced with the existing one, in which Fantomah becomes the Legendary Daughter of the Pharaohs.
