Synopsis: |
Roberta is sent to a "boarding school" for "bad girls" because her father can't support her. She gets a job as a governess for the Evans family, but Mr. Evans makes a pass at her and she's fired. Roberta moves to a residence hall and makes friends with Annette, who introduces her to Jerry at church. Roberta and Jerry fall in love, but she doesn't think she's good enough for him. When Roberta is unjustly arrested for theft, Jerry intervenes and says he'll marry her to keep her out of prison. |

Beth becomes engaged to Larry, which upsets Peggy. Peggy tells Larry she saw George kissing Beth. They break up. Beth clears Peggy of a theft charge at school, and Peggy apologizes for telling Larry that Beth was unfaithful. Peggy reunites Larry and Beth. |
