Several of the stories in this issue are clearly Iger Shop work; the latter two stories (especially "Love in the Hills") are much better than the usual Iger product although some of the faces still look Iger-ish.
Jessie, a backwoods country girl, falls for Joe, an artist from the city who rents her pa's cabin. They marry in secret because she knows that her pa, and Luke (the strongest man in the county), wouldn't approve.
