Synopsis:
Quizzo the Owl hosts the radio quiz show "Fact or Consequence"--when the contestants get a wrong answer, they are forced to perform dangerous stunts.
Little girl Nanny finds a stray dog she names Boots. Her mother says she can't keep him, but when Nanny's mother is in danger of drowning, Boots rescues her and becomes part of the family.
Tubby dreams his rubber ball comes to life and grants Timmy's wish (to be made of rubber) and Tubby's wish (to be made of soap). These wishes have unpleasant consequences and when he awakes, Tubby eagerly does his chores because "working is a lot safer than dreaming!"
