Synopsis: Model Terry wants to become a success before she marries Jim. Model agent Harvey makes an appointment to see Terry at her apartment, but when he arrives he makes a pass at her. Terry resists and Harvey attempts to rape, then murder her. However, Jim and the police arrive just in time. “Harvey” is actually a deranged office boy for the real agent, who tells Terry that she can marry Jim and still be a model.

Synopsis: Recovering from a long illness, Bob leaves his fiancée Vicki to spend time alone at a remote cabin. He finally writes and asks Vicki to join him, but when she arrives she meets Dexter, an insane actor who says he’s just pushed Bob off a cliff. But Bob survived the fall, and prevents Dexter from raping Vicki. The police arrive and Dexter accidentally kills himself with an axe. Bob and Vicki will be married the next day.

Synopsis: After serving two years in prison, Jean comes home and is accosted by her former boyfriend Frankie, who was responsible for her troubles. Frankie tries to convince Jean to team up with him again, threatening to involve her younger sister Dolly unless she agrees. However, Jean tips off armored car guard Bill to Frankie’s holdup plans and the crooks are killed in a shootout. Even after he learns about her past, Bill still wants to marry Jean.

Synopsis: Ken, the editor of a small-town newspaper, loves his secretary Elaine, but she craves excitement. Elaine attends the annual masked ball alone when Ken has to work late, and meets a masked pirate named Jacques. She falls in love with Jacques but is heartbroken when she sees him kissing another woman. Over the next year, Elaine sulks and turns down Ken’s marriage proposal. At the next annual ball, Elaine is reunited with Jacques, but realizes she loves Ken after all. Surprise, “Jacques” is Ken in disguise!
