Comment: These days, the salesman running the postcard scam would net at least $60.00 American and save at least $50.00 American. This scam was used in the "Mathnet" episode involving the criminal Swami Riva; he was contacting retired lawyers in order to induce them to participate in a horse-betting scam.

Comment: Years ago, during a student assembly at Agincourt Elementary School, I watched an anti-vandalism film in which I saw two girls shoplifting - an odd sequence for a film whose topic was vandalism - who were caught by a store guard. Last year, I was reminded of it when I read the shoplifting sequences in this series. Now, why would anyone put a sequence involving shoplifting in an anti-vandalism movie? Shoplifting is a form of theft, not vandalism.

Comment: Probably ran out of good ideas for vandalism sequences, or they just wanted to put their girlfriends in the film, and who ever heard of girls doing vandalism? They make better shoplifters.
