Wealthy Vernon is attracted to Betsy but she rejects his lecherous advances. Georgia, Vernon’s equally rich friend, tries to seduce Jack but their boat is sunk in a storm: Betsy and Vernon rescue them. Betsy and Jack realise they are meant for each other, as do Georgia and Vernon.
