Synopsis:	Dora and her son Teddy were abandoned by her husband. Now Dora has a job as a restaurant hostess and the owner Dave is in love with her, but he doesn’t know she has a child. Dora asks her sister Janice to pretend to be Teddy’s mother so she can marry Dave. Janice and Dave fall in love but everything is alright, because Dora’s husband is now rich and is coming back.

Phyllis likes the job and falls in love with Mark, but his “famous newspaperwoman” fiancee Vanessa suddenly returns. Phyllis plans to leave, but Mark says Vanessa just broke their engagement and now he can marry Phyllis.

Nick tries to trick Steve into dumping Kath so he can have her, but it doesn’t work. Nick is arrested and Steve and Kath get married.

He agrees, but says she has to “glamorize yourself.” Joan and Jeffrey fall in love on the outing. As they prepare to part, Jeffrey admits his name is really Jeffrey and he’s the son of a rich man. They decide to get married.
