Am I the only one who finds it ironic that this book is hosted in its entirety (or near entirety) on archive.org, who are known for their public domain material, yet it can't be posted that way here?
Rather than post partial versions of these books on DCM, why not simply link to the more complete version on archive.org? |

I couldn't agree more. Nothing worse than getting an incomplete book if a complete one is available somewhere. |

Posting the entire work or even linking to a full copy would put both DCA and CB+ in an uncomfortable position as far as preserving the right (and the reputation) to publish public domain material. Whatever accommodations archive.org may have made are irrelevant here. Best to err on the side of caution. The team here is doing a great job researching and posting material that is confirmed as PD. I am not anticipating any such thing, but I think it would be great if Marvel and DC, among others, would recognize the commitment everyone here has made to PD material, and would release digital copies to be hosted here. Yes, it's a fantasy, but fantasy is what GA comics are about. |

It is enough that it cites the source with the comment that portions were removed. It is then up to the reader to follow through or not. I did and I appreciate the reference. Now . . . about those missing BR stories from Famous Funnies . . . . |

The last page of the Kid Adonis story also seems to be missing. Or is it just a weird ending? Neat Joe Simon Superman parody! |

Sorry gang but DCM is not willing to risk sharing the GH stories.
If you were to look on CB+ you might be more happy. |
