The story of Alex Vorple: The ugly teen-age boy is driven to murder. Hearing voices, Alex feels compelled to drown his inferiority complex by killing girls.
Two unscrupulous businessmen murder "Crazy Carl", a hermit who won't sell them his house on the hill. Police catch the killers because Carl whittled their faces into pieces of wood.
