Synopsis: Steve and Carol fall in love, even though their fathers—who own adjacent ranches—don’t get along. After Steve’s father dies, he has to sell the ranch, and Steve goes to work on Carol’s ranch (now a dude ranch) as foreman. Carol is jealous when Steve’s old friend Lynn arrives as a guest, and Steve takes a job with Lynn’s father’s firm in New York. Lynn and Steve become engaged. Carol accepts a marriage proposal from Charles, but calls it off when Steve returns and they reconcile.

Although she is attracted to Ken, Sandy plans to make him fall in love with her and then dump him. She accepts a date from Joe, then realizes she does love Ken and breaks it. However, when Sandy sees Ken at a dance with another woman, she is jealous. Ken says he really loves Joan and they reconcile.
